Turmeric – Premium Mother Earth Organic 1 kg

Turmeric – Premium Mother Earth Organic 1 kg

A high-quality turmeric grown in India or Sri Lanka. It has a subtly bitter taste with a little sharpness and a hint of orange and ginger. Turmeric contains the flavonoid curcumin, which gives it its characteristic yellow color and beneficial effects. Our supplier guarantees that it has a curcumin content of at least 5%.

Here at Valfrids, we have extensive experience working with the supplier of Mother Earth (Råvarubutiken/Natessen), and we have chosen their products simply because they are of higher quality than others. We know that they are very careful about the growers they work with. We choose with care and look for the cleanest and highest quality products. Not always the cheapest, but quality pays off in the long run.

Many people use turmeric not only as a spice in food, but for health, for joints, inflammations and tumors. Using it in powder form will be cheaper and more effective for those who use turmeric in this way. But turmeric is also a versatile spice that has been used for centuries to add flavor and color to foods, from Thai soups to Indian curries.
