Tuna fillet in Mediterranean spiced olive oil from Santa Catarina. Bonito tuna fished with rod and line in the Atlantic Ocean off the Azores and processed according to noble Portuguese artisan traditions and packed in BPA-free cans. The olive oil is seasoned with molho cru (garlic, chili, parsley and olive oil).
A tin like this is incredibly practical to have at home. Easily makes a healthy, protein-rich lunch when you’re short on time, or a Mediterranean-inspired dinner. In other countries, it is always kept at home because it is tasty, practical and healthy, but also as a provision in case something happens. Canned goods have a long shelf life, often well beyond the best-before date.
