Soy Sauce 100 ml – Shibanuma Oitachi

Japanese soy of the highest quality

It’s temporarily on sale at the outlet because the expiration date is close—260719—but it’s perfectly fine to use; after all, soy sauce can be stored just like red wine.
It’s an exceptional soybean—perhaps the best in the world? Take this opportunity to give it a try.

“Ohitachi” soybeans from Shibanuma. Made using an ancient process of fermentation for over a year in three hundred year old wooden barrels.

Shibanuma has been producing soy sauce for over 320 years, spanning 18 generations.

We are a health food store first and foremost, but we also sell some top quality foods. We are particularly fond of Japanese and Mediterranean food, and this is reflected in our range. All our foods are specially selected because they are produced by small family businesses, completely free of chemicals, dyes, etc. and made with care! Quality ingredients, we believe in that. It is health. And they are always tastier. This soy is exceptional. We have two varieties of Japanese Soy, this is the smaller bottle in a handy package that allows you to keep it in the fridge and easily pour a splash whenever you need.

A complex, round, mild but powerful soy that is almost floral in taste compared to cheap soy from Ica.
