Manuka Honey 400+ 250 g – Manuka Health

Manuka Honey MGO 400+ from Manuka Health

MGO™ 400+ Manuka Honey from Manuka Health, the most trusted brand of Manuka honey. It is certified to contain at least 400 mg of methylglyoxal per kilogram. The beneficial substance in honey—with its somewhat unpleasant-sounding chemical name—comes from the nectar that bees collect from the flowers of the manuka tree (Leptospermum scoparium). It is this substance that makes Manuka honey so special, and it is the substance we want as much of as possible in the honey.

Scientific tests have shown that methylglyoxal is one of the organic compounds that occur naturally in manuka honey, but its levels can vary greatly. That is why Manuka Health tests every single batch to ensure its quality.

Manuka honey also tastes very good—just as good as regular honey. Intense, well-rounded, full-bodied flavor.

Many years ago, when Jens from Valfrid worked at the health food store Gröna Hörnet on Nybrogatan in Östermalm, Stockholm, this manuka honey was the best-selling item and the one customers asked for. We are now pleased to offer it at Valfrids.

MGO™ Manuka Honey is harvested from bee colonies in pristine areas of New Zealand, with full traceability from the hive to the store shelf.
