Japanese Genmaicha Tea Bags, 20 g
Genmaicha is green sencha tea and roasted brown rice. It’s the kind you sometimes get at sushi restaurants in Sweden.
It has a mild and refreshing flavor. Genmai means “brown rice” in Japanese. It adds a special, slightly toasty flavor.
Green tea is mildly invigorating—this genmaicha is no exception. At Valfrids, we drink it instead of coffee. The stimulating effect is milder. Green tea is also believed to have the ability to make us feel calm and harmonious, as the compound L-theanine keeps us alert yet relaxed*
It’s best to brew it with water that isn’t boiling; let it cool slightly—about 80 degrees is just right.
