Ventresca, tuna – Yurrita – the world’s finest canned tuna
Ventresca is considered the most delicious part of the tuna. It is cut from the abdomen and is slightly fatter in taste, darker in color and has a complex and intense flavor that is suitable for e.g. pasta sauce and vitello tonnato, but can also be enjoyed as it is on a piece of toast for example. It also goes perfectly with a nice salad. The tuna are in thin slices in the jar and are easy to take out for a neat arrangement.
A truly luxurious delicacy! Healthy and protein-rich lunch or dinner. Also good to have at home as “prepper” canned food. It’s not cheap, we admit, but it’s exceptional, something to treat yourself to sometimes. This is a proud Portuguese craft, no mass production, no dolphins harmed in production.
