Wash and clean more economically and gently with our Japanese dishcloth / tawashi.
Michiko patch / tawashi is a hand-knitted small patch for washing and cleaning fine porcelain, glass, crystal and more and for cleaning, for example, in bathrooms.
It has a wide range of uses and eliminates the need for detergents. At the Aronia store, we use them for “fine washing” and cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.
Great for crystal glasses, as you don’t want to put them in the dishwasher and it is also difficult to remove red wine stains, grease stains and fingerprints.
Excellent for the bathroom – sinks and tiles stay clean and tidy. Kitchen sink and sink and other places in the kitchen too, easy to wipe.
Why not the chandelier? Or for those with a boat, caravan or campsite – simply wipe with a damp Michiko tawashi.
It is hand-knitted for us in Japan with love, from a special acrylic yarn.
In Japan these are called tawashi, they are popular because they can be used for so many things, last a long time and eliminate the need for washing up liquid.
They are made in different colors. When you order, you will receive a randomly selected variant! All are different because they are handmade.
They measure between 8-10 cm.
Use it only with lukewarm water. No detergent is needed, but sometimes you can dab a little detergent on it if you’re washing something a bit ‘greasy’. Leaves no scratches on delicate materials.
You can rinse it in dishwashing liquid from time to time to keep it fresh.
