Galltvål’s solid cleaning and stain removal soap is a must-have for anyone who wants a convenient soap for all kinds of cleaning and laundry. Recommended for every home!

You’re probably already familiar with Galltvål? It’s not a soap for the shower, but rather for laundry and cleaning. Here at Valfrids, we think it’s a fantastic product—indeed, indispensable. We use both the bar soap and the liquid version for laundry, among other things, but also for all kinds of stain removal. The bar soap was the one we started using personally. It’s perfect for removing small but stubborn stains, such as on a shirt collar or tablecloth.

It contains, among other things, ox bile and chlorophyll, which are effective against oil and grease, as well as stains from grass, berries, fruits, and vegetables. The soap contains no chemical substances, only natural ingredients (no genetically modified raw materials), and is therefore also biodegradable. The Galltvål has not been tested on animals, of course. Certified with Good Environmental Choice.

The soap base consists of vegetable coconut oil and palm oil that are organically grown as part of a Fair Trade project in Brazil and the Dominican Republic.

How to Use Galltvål

The solid Galltvål soap bar is a true classic. And of course we understand why. It is our most effective stain remover for all fabrics. Because it contains ox gall and chlorophyll, it removes even the toughest stains from grass, berries, and fruit.

Do this:
Soak the fabric where the stain is.
Rub the Galltvål soap into the stain until it lathers.
Let it sit for at least 10–20 minutes.
Wash the garment by hand or in the washing machine.
Repeat for stubborn stains.

Be sure to check the colorfastness of the garment before using Galltvål.
