Sencha is the most common type of green tea in Japan. There are many varieties of sencha, depending on where it is grown and how it is produced.
This tea is quite mild. The color ranges from light yellow to light green.
It can be drunk both hot and cold, but people usually drink it hot.
It isn’t flavored in any way—just the way it should be! Otherwise, it’s hard to find authentic Japanese tea in Sweden.

Green tea is mildly invigorating. We drink it instead of coffee. The stimulating effect is milder. Green tea is also believed to have the ability to make us feel calm and harmonious, as the compound L-theanine keeps us alert yet relaxed.
This tea is best brewed with water that isn’t boiling; let it cool slightly—about 80 degrees is just right.
