Used for joint health. Often used to relieve pain and stiffness in joints, especially in osteoarthritis.

Glucosamine has been used traditionally to reduce inflammation in joints and to protect and preserve cartilage.

Many users report improved mobility and reduced joint pain.

In Valfrids’ experience of talking to clients using glucosamine, many became more mobile and had less pain. It seems to have helped rebuild cartilage, improve mobility, reduce pain and inflammation. The effect varies from person to person. Some even avoided surgery. The same goes for MSM, organic sulphur, which is an important component of joints, skin, cartilage and mucous membranes. MSM is also important for our cell membranes and for liver function. We think this supplement is a smart combination of these substances.

Scientific references, effect of Glucosamine

Osteoarthritis

– Study 1: A 2010 systematic review and meta-analysis found that glucosamine may have a small to moderate effect on pain relief and functional improvement in knee osteoarthritis.

– Study 2: A 2015 Cochrane review showed that glucosamine may have little to no effect on pain and function in knee and hip osteoarthritis.

Inflammatory Markers:

– A study published in the Journal of Pain Research in 2013 showed that glucosamine does not significantly affect inflammatory markers, but can improve symptoms related to inflammation.

Combination treatments:
