Milk chocolate cake with 90% cocoa and 10% aronia.

Chocolate cake with aronia powder from our supplier Aroniada in Bulgaria. The chocolate is sweetened with coconut sugar and contains a little coconut milk, so we call it milk chocolate, but it is still quite dark in color and the cocoa content is 60%, so it is slightly sweet but not overly sweet. It is wonderfully creamy with a slight hint of coconut. Extremely polyphenol-rich = healthy and tasty.

It contains only aronia powder, so it is a purist and natural chocolate with a soft texture. Be prepared for the taste to be quite special, as it contains coconut sugar and coconut milk! It is a completely unique chocolate bar.

Dairy-free, Gluten-free, Nut-free and Soy-free. May contain traces of nuts and milk powder, although this bar does not contain them, it is produced in the same place where other chocolate is produced that may do so.

Aronia is a berry with a long tradition, especially in Eastern Europe, Germany and Russia. Its major health benefit is its high polyphenol content. It is a class of substances found in red berries and fruits. In aronia, these are found in exceptionally high levels, along with other beneficial substances such as vitamins, iodine, minerals, catechins and more. Quality and Origin – From Rural Bulgaria to Your Bottle

All our Aroniada aronia is grown in the Bulgarian countryside, on land that has never been sprayed with chemicals, never fertilized. The berries are picked at the peak of their ripeness and taken to the nearby in-house facility where they are pressed immediately after harvest in a proprietary process. This means that from harvest to bottle is no more than three-quarters of a mile – the berries are never frozen and are not transported far.
