Organic Japanese Matcha Green Tea, 30 g

Japanese macha / matcha tea, 30 g

Macha, which is also sometimes spelled matcha or maccha, is powdered green tea that is traditionally used in tea ceremonies.
Much greener in color than our other teas (sencha). Tastes better. The strength can be adjusted by using more or less powder.

From Nakayama Kahoen, a finely ground green tea produced according to Japanese tradition. The tea is grown and processed in Japan, then ground into a fine powder with an intense green color and a naturally rich flavor.

For those who want authentic, high-quality Japanese macha—perfect for everything from a traditional tea ceremony and a morning cup of macha to modern favorites like matcha lattes, smoothies, baked goods, and desserts. The powder dissolves easily and has a smooth, balanced flavor that appeals to both beginners and experienced matcha enthusiasts.

Nakayama Kahoen is a renowned tea house in Japan known for its meticulous craftsmanship and respect for the raw ingredients.

How to brew / prepare matcha

Usually, you whisk it with a fine bamboo whisk. You can also use a small whisk of any kind, or a milk frother, for example.
It can also be used in cooking, baking, ice cream, cookies, and smoothies.
