Whole White Pepper – Mother Earth Organic 250g

Whole White Peppercorns – Mother Earth Organic 250 gr

Exceptionally fine white pepper – For those who like to cook and appreciate quality ingredients, it pays to buy quality spices, instead of cheap spices at Ica. For example, did you know that almost all spices at Ica and Hemköp and such places are irradiated? Our spices are of course not irradiated. Quality spices also taste better and have more nutritional value. Spices such as herbs, ginger and pepper have a very interesting nutritional content.

White pepper is one of the most widely used pepper varieties and comes from the same plant as black and green pepper. White pepper is made from the ripe berries, which are traditionally immersed in water to remove the skin and then dried.

White pepper goes well with most things but is often used with seafood, pork, veal and lamb as well as with vegetables such as spinach and mushroom stews. The pepper is also widely used for white sauces when you don’t want the black dots that you otherwise get from black pepper.

A tip – always have white peppercorns at home. If you feel you’ve eaten something inappropriate and are worried about your stomach, take a couple of grains, chew and swallow. Feel free to travel to countries where hygiene in restaurants is not what it should be.
