Vitamin D3 5000 IU, 90 capsules – Holistic

Holistic Vitamin D3 5000 contains 5,000 IU (125 micrograms) of vitamin D3 in the form of cholecalciferol—the same type that the body produces naturally when exposed to sunlight.

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that affects up to 2000 genes and plays an important role in the body’s calcium balance, immune system and mental well-being. Holistic Vitamin D3 5000 provides a high dose in a form that the body recognizes and can easily utilize—cholecalciferol derived from sheep’s wool.

For best effect, combine with magnesium and vitamin K2, which work in synergy with vitamin D: magnesium is needed for activation, and K2 helps to store calcium in bones rather than in soft tissues.
This product is suitable for those who have limited sun exposure, wear opaque clothing, spend most of their time indoors or live in northern latitudes. Older adults, people with darker skin tones, and those who feel tired during the winter months also often have an increased need.
