Natural impregnating agent for outdoor clothing and textiles
Jackets, panniers, backpacks and even large outdoor tents need regular care and a refreshing waterproofing. With the Tapir Draußen unterwegs! products (which roughly translates to “Out and about”), you have an excellent eco-friendly option that’s not only good for the materials and your health, but also for the environment.
No solvents, persistent chemicals, PFAS, Teflon, or petroleum derivatives—only natural ingredients—and it works better than chemical waterproofing! This is how people used to waterproof things in the old days.
For impregnation of textiles, adult and children’s outdoor clothing, suitcases, backpacks, tents… Also for functional clothing and streetwear.
The impregnation is applied with the supplied application brush or a large brush for larger areas.
Use and dosage:
Shake the bottle well before use!
Apply Tapir “Out and About” waterproofing evenly to the fabric using the included application brush. Treat the seams particularly well. Allow the fabric to dry. For large surfaces, you can also use a polishing brush to distribute the product. If the product is not applied evenly, streaks may appear after drying. These light residues can be easily removed using heat, e.g. a hairdryer. A particularly good result is achieved by drying in a tumble dryer. In this case, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the textiles!
The brush can be easily cleaned with water.
