NOW Fenugreek 500 mg, 100 capsules

Fenugreek is an annual herb that grows wild but is also cultivated all over the world. Where it grows wild, it is most commonly found around the eastern Mediterranean and China. As far back as ancient Egypt, the seeds were very popular for their beneficial properties. Among other things, the seeds were believed to have a beneficial effect on the stomach. It is a common spice in Persian, Indian, and Thai cuisines. Fenugreek has a slightly bitter taste, and its seeds are rich in vitamins and minerals.

What is fenugreek used for?

Traditionally, fenugreek has been used to treat digestive problems such as loss of appetite, bloating, constipation, and gastritis, but it is also used to treat conditions such as diabetes, painful menstruation, and obesity, as well as atherosclerosis, high cholesterol, and high blood lipid levels. In addition, the spice is used to treat a variety of other ailments, such as kidney problems, canker sores, boils, and bronchitis—a universal remedy, so to speak.

Alfalfa can be used, among other things, to relieve skin irritations, promote bowel regularity, and stabilize blood sugar levels. Several studies have been conducted on fenugreek and its effect on blood sugar*.

Alfalfa has become a popular supplement among men who want to boost their energy levels and vitality. Perhaps one of its most talked-about applications.

Alfalfa can provide relief from sinus problems.

Alfalfa can help improve microcirculation.

In the health food sector, fenugreek is sold as a powder, in capsules, as a liquid extract, and as herbal tea. Some products are intended for internal use, and some are intended for external use—for example, to treat skin irritations. The easiest way is usually to take the supplement in capsule form, which is why NOW Foods has developed Fenugreek in capsule form.
