Magnesium ascorbate – gentle vitamin C with magnesium

Holistic Vitamin C Acid-Neutral is a dietary supplement in powder form. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is acidic, and some people can get stomach problems from it. Holistic Vitamin C Acid-Free contains vitamin C in the form of magnesium ascorbate, which means that even people who are sensitive to ascorbic acid can take it. There are different forms of acid-neutral vitamin C, such as calcium ascorbate, sodium ascorbate and potassium ascorbate. As magnesium deficiency is the most common mineral deficiency in humans, this uses magnesium ascorbate, which means you also get a magnesium supplement. ¼ tsp vitamin C neutral acid provides 1000 mg vitamin C and 80 mg magnesium.
