Köndringer Pflegewachs – natural wax for the protection and care of wooden floors, wooden furniture or antiques

Pflegewachs means caring wax. It is made from natural ingredients and is ideal for the care and protection of wooden floors, wooden furniture and antiques. Surfaces are protected and given a silky shine.

Our tip! Linoleum, cork and marble can also be treated with the wax. We recommend Köndringer furniture polish from Tapir for pre-treating these surfaces.

Application:
Apply the wax thinly and evenly with a cloth or brush, then polish directly with a polishing brush to a silky shine. Finish with a polishing cloth to increase the shine. Ventilate large areas well. Highly absorbent surfaces such as soft wood, cork and linoleum are best treated with oil beforehand (Köndringer furniture oil). Unvarnished wood surfaces look particularly beautiful if they are sanded with a sanding fleece before waxing.

Beeswax, carnauba wax*, shellac wax, sugar cane wax, linseed oil* and orange oil
* from controlled organic farming / wax from organic farming

Content: 200 ml in a classic tin can.

On Tapir’s pickiness about raw materials:
Here’s an example of just how meticulous Tapir is about its ingredients: when we at Valfrids visited their factory, they told us that they had previously tried to buy flaxseed oil in bulk on the European market. Even though it was organic flaxseed oil, the quality varied too much; they couldn’t rely on the raw material maintaining a consistent quality. So they found a local farmer and signed an agreement with him to purchase organic flaxseed oil exclusively from him, even though it ended up being more expensive. He could guarantee consistent and extremely high quality, and Tapir could guarantee the order quantity. That’s how important raw materials are. These are, in other words, products of the very highest quality.
