Now that we\u2019re dusting it off in 2018\u2014more than twenty years later\u2014it turns out, unfortunately, that it\u2019s still just as relevant.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">It\u2019s about Lena, who was diagnosed with breast cancer and began her journey toward recovery, and how she came into contact with Dr. Erik Enby through her then-husband, Ingemar. It\u2019s also about how Ingemar and Erik started a newspaper and about everything else that has happened during this time.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">Lena has survived her diagnosis for twenty-seven years. Ingemar describes Erik Enby\u2019s method for diagnosis and treatment. The book also examines how attitudes toward cancer and cancer research have evolved to the present day. The authors express their \u201chope for major changes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Lena Forsberg also appears in the film \u201cCancer and Microbes,\u201d in which she talks about her recovery from cancer with the help of Swedish oncologist Erik Enby. <\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The film \u201cCancer and Microbes\u201d (named after the book) is approximately 52 minutes long.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ingemar Ljungqvist, along with his daughter Anna B\u00f6hlmark, is the founder of the magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/almanova.se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alma Nova<\/a>.
