Tapir Leather Conditioner<\/span><\/h2>\n

A care product for heavily worn leather or fine, handmade shoes intended for use during the harsher seasons. It guarantees perfect moisture protection.<\/p>\n

Especially for natural leather and heavy-duty, rough leather, e.g. hiking boots, work boots. The leather grease deeply nourishes and conditions the leather and provides optimal protection against moisture. It has a water-repellent, moisturizing effect and makes old, brittle leather soft and supple again. Thanks to the use of natural raw materials, it smells pleasant, is natural and protects our environment.<\/p>\n

At Valfrids, we use it, among other things, around the seams of our handmade, high-quality shoes for fall and winter wear. Yes on the whole shoe actually. But the uses are many. It is an all-round product for leather. A classic of the type traditionally used by the military. This is a “lifesaver” for damaged and very dry leather. It can also be used effectively on gloves and leather on tools and hunting accessories.<\/p>\n

Use:<\/strong>
\nRub the leather conditioner into the leather using a cotton cloth or a Tapir application brush. After a while, remove excess fat with an absorbent cotton cloth. Do not apply too thickly! The leather grease is easier to apply when it is ‘hand warm’.
\nDon’t worry about getting it on your hands\u2014we at Valfrids love working with this leather conditioner; it’s like a hand treatment at the same time. No need for plastic gloves due to drying solvents or yellowing petrochemical greases.
\nA great tip we got from Tapir is to mix a tiny bit of water with it in the palm of your hand, rub it in your hand, and then apply it. It will then be easy to apply when you need to use it over a larger area.<\/p>\n
